I know what it feels like to be underestimated.
Before I ever became a tax professional, I was a young teen mom, then later a single divorcee of four (three of them under six) trying to figuring out how to make ends meet. I didnβt have a degree then and I didnβt have a traditional financial background. Most people assumed I didnβt know what I was doing, but I learned fast, asked the questions others skipped, and figured out how tax strategy can actually work to benefit me.
Because of that, Iβve never forgotten what it feels like to be overwhelmed by finances AND to feel like the system isnβt built for you.
Thatβs why when clients sit down with me, every question they ask is treated as a "good" question.
